This will be the place where current and former students of my classes can start discussions on technical topics, share news about the latest technology trends, ask questions about course content (or technical issues), or simply chat and socialize with friends and peers.

First, update your Profile

Once you sign up for the forum and activate your account, please update your profile information first. Add the following three items to your profile:

Class: Specify the class you are enrolled in - either AFM 345 or AFM 346.
Name: Enter your name as it appears on the UW Learn class list.
UW Email: Provide your UW email address.

Note that only enrolled members of this forum can see this profile information.

How to make a Post (or Discussion)

To make a post or start a discussion, simply click "Start a Discussion" in the top-left corner. First, you will need to select a "category" (or primary tag). Currently, we offer the following six categories:

After choosing one of these categories, you may also select one of the following three secondary tags, although this is optional:

Choosing a category is mandatory, as it determines where your post will be located. The secondary tag, while optional, helps further classify your post as NEWS, TIPS, or Q&A.

There are no strict rules regarding which category or secondary tag you should choose; select what you believe is most appropriate. Occasionally, I may adjust your post's category or secondary tag if a different classification seems more suitable.

Please note that posts can only be edited or deleted within 10 minutes of posting. After this window, you cannot make any changes. If you need to delete a post after this period, please contact me.
